Spatial Analysis
One of the first steps to ensuring a successful development project is spatial analysis. Selection criteria can be established in a number of ways, depending on the type of development. The selection process can be approached in different ways, but none can be as comprehensive as a GIS search. GIS Consulting Unlimited can provide you with assistance in establishing site selection criteria and then determine a number of sites which fall within the range of criteria.
Database Management, Conversion, and Migration
We have the capability to offer complete database management, specializing in complex GIS file translations between all of the widespread digital formats. We are able to utilize data of many file types for translation, compilation, plotting, and updating.
Report Generation
We provide full detail reports, spreadsheets, and Power Point presentations to meet your specific unique needs.
Digital Photo Interpretation
We have the facilities and the expertise to produce high quality vector maps from your existing digital ortho-photo quad (DOQ). We will match the DOQ to an existing vector map, or create a new map based on the DOQ. GPS waypoints may be used for additional precision in this process. The end result is highly accurate GIS data with which you can visualize your project efficiently and precisely.
3D Analysis
- Generation of three-dimensional contours.
- Integration of data from computer-aided design (CAD).
- Statistical analysis in three dimensions.
- Creation of density surfaces from attribute data.
- Perform line-of-sight analysis and create three-dimensional visibility maps.
- Fully capable of working with most common data formats.
- Build true three-dimensional surface models from any point data source (including [GPS]).
- Model real-world surface features, such as buildings as well as subsurface features like wells, mines, groundwater, and underground storage facilities.
- Drape two-dimensional features or image data on three-dimensional surfaces and have complete access to tabular data via interactive query.
